How to Make the Most of Shelter In Place

Hey Yugenites,

I wanted to share a few things that dawned on me recently about “shelter-in-place”, which I think are important to keep in mind:

  1. Time moves fast in quarantine. Feel like quarantine has been one really looong day? Me too. Everything is blending together because there are fewer significant events to serve as reference points in our memory.

  2. I have to consciously make each day count. It’s harder to distinguish between our days unless we go out of our way to make them unique. Decide, right now, that you won’t let shelter-in-place lull you to sleep. You don’t want to wake up at the end of this crisis and feel like you squandered all that time...

  3. I must accept the state of the world, and make the most of it. This is a unique situation where we all have the time and resources to learn something new, refine our skills, and focus on self-development. Start, today, with a short list of goals or topics that you’d like to learn more about. You won’t regret it!

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting tips and recommendations for how to make the most of a quarantine lifestyle.

*Spoilers* ==> Fitness, working-from-home, mental health, stay-at-home business ideas, and home-cooking are all on the menu.

As a heads up: I'll also be letting you know about some of the awesome products we're rolling out at Yugenite. Each one is designed to help you take action on the tips and recommendations I mentioned earlier. Don't worry - I would never sell you any product that I wouldn't use myself. I just wanted to let you know ahead of time, so you won't be surprised later when I send you a product recommendation!
